What is the Selection process?

All schools in San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma County are invited to apply. Up to six schools will be chosen for the first cohort.

The following items will be among the criteria for selection:

  • size of school
  • size of congregation
  • rabbinic involvement in youth education
  • congregational/lay leadership support
  • educational leadership

Please note: two meetings are required.

First, an informational meeting must be scheduled prior to application.

After the application has been submitted, an interview with the congregational leaders is required.
